Sample Storyboards & Rapid Prototypes

2024 Flex Refresher Program

How can we create an innovative test-out option for learners proficient in our core content?

In this course, instead of using a traditional quiz to test learner understanding, I developed scenario-based vignettes. Since learners have already seen this content before, they are assessed on their responses to the opening vignettes. If they pass, they can choose to review core content or go straight to the practice activities.

How can we use storytelling in a course authoring tool that has limited functionality?

To incorporate storytelling into Uber’s course authoring tool, which could host text, images, video, and multiple-choice questions, we incorporated video-based scenarios and allowed learners to make choices using multiple choice questions to simulate simple branching scenarios.

For this demo, the video based scenarios have been replaced with written scripts.

2022 Crisis Development Model Prototype

This is an example of a storyboard for an Articulate Storyline course. At this point, I had action mapped, designed a content outline, and written a narration script. I sent this to my team for feedback and took their comments (which I left in the margins of the storyboard) and incorporated them as I perfected the prototype in Articulate Storyline.
